Fiscal discipline is key to our operations. Reconfiguring our office for technology-driven public service continues to facilitate cutting costs while delivering excellence.

Reduced Assessment Appeals

We provide clear communication and transparent methods to the public. My staff and I meet one-on-one with taxpayers to provide individualized information and to act on their concerns, reducing  assessment appeals to the County and State.

Example: Over the past two years alone, I have restructured our office and reduced our volume of assessment appeals by over 48.00%.

Streamlining the Assessment Process

Expertise coupled with technology shapes efficient work-flow and accurate results. Our office uses data-driven statistical analysis, calibrated valuation models, GIS systems, and digital inspections tools to assure accuracy and uniformity in assessment outcomes.

Consistent, Low Assessment Multipliers for Stable Assessments

My office's work has consistently achieved the lowest Assessment (Increase) Multipliers from the DuPage County Supervisor of Assessments for 9 out of 11 years (and the second-lowest for the other two years).

Proactively Educating  and Assisting the Public

We've developed programs, resources, and outreach efforts to educate property owners about the assessment process and the property tax system. My office personally assists our community's Seniors in applying for Property Tax Exemptions. 

Digitizing and Updating Records

Thanks to our integration of technology and Assessment processes, my office has answers to your questions at their fingertips. We constantly perform field work to identify and collect information on new construction (Commercial and Industrial as well as Residential), additions, or any other significant changes that could impact a property's value.

Collaborating with Local Governments

We work with municipalities and other local governments to maximize our office's services, capabilities, and data integrity. Example: Our partnership with DuPage County assisted their recent transition from their 40-year-old mainframe to their new, cloud-based property tax system.
